mad at Les about this?
Not mad at all. He did what head coaches are supposed to do, for the sake of the whole team and for LSU's reputation. As great a player as TM7 was, he was not bigger than LSU. No player is, or should be, no matter how good. And if the team rules are no drugs, then that means no drugs for everybody. And it sounds as if TM was given every chance to clean up his act, but didn't. Ego or sheer dumbness? I don't know. But it's sad for him and for all us who were looking forward to seeing him out there this season.

However, I do not fault Coach Miles, I salute his courage and integrity. Unlike JoePa, he didn't just look the other way when something went wrong.

I know it's not a good time to say anything about Penn State but.... LSU and Les Miles have proven loudly and clearly that OUR rules mean something and that we have the integrity to do what is required. And without regard to the possible impact on the football team. I agree with many posters here that say various other coaches would not be so inclined and that is unfortunate.
