Is it possible TM7's issue wasn't drug related?

I've seen posters on 2 other boards claiming this wasn't drugs at all. But of course they're being cryptic and vague and won't say what they heard. Anybody heard anything other than weed?

According to the dude from NOLA, and sports writers always have sources, it was multiple positive drug tests. My best friend from HS is a writer for the NOTP, and although I haven't talked to him today, I'd be willing to bet those guys knew about this last night.

Based off of his prior behavior if it was anything other than drugs I would be surprised. There's been whispers of this throughout the summer.

Alleva:

So, unless he's been in a lot of videos...it was drugs.

Assuming the player hasn't been arrested and charged with anything...

It is very unlikely for a major college football player to be kicked completely off the team and out of school for anything other then failing drug tests.

it almost has to be drug tests.

You mean other than having contact with an agent, accepting money from a booster, cheating on tests, exchanging gear for tattoos, etc...

Since it is drugs , and a violation of school and not NCAA rules, does that possibly leave a crack in the door for TM to come back?

Probably just me in denial, but I hope he can come back.

Why?

The dude obviously puts himself ahead of the team, has had multiple chances that he wasted, and has shown that he does not care about his actions.

How do you think that would look to the rest of the team if Miles were to let him back? The team would become a giant clusterfrick after that. Miles would not be able to punish anyone for anything.

Well, the reason I posted the link to the article was because that's where the quote came from.

The article was not the point, Alleva's quote within, was.

But, hey, why let 4 words get in the way...
