Yeah, it is preferable because I want to put the correct spelling on the editable roster, so when people search, they do try to add an already owned player. Then again, I could just continue to check on the EPL site.

You can't sub in Hernandez for a defender when you only have 3 defenders starting
re: Season Long TD.com League Championship Thread-apaloozaPosted by 20legend on 11/12/12 at 10:50 am to Jumbeauxlaya
That's my problem with only having one sub. We should be able to prioritize our bench and use them all if needed.
re: Season Long TD.com League Championship Thread-apaloozaPosted by Jumbeauxlaya on 11/12/12 at 10:54 am to 20legend
It's strategy, you have to prepare for who you think might not play and which sub will allow you the greatest flexibility of who he can or can't sub for.
Say you play with 4 defenders, 4 mids and 2 fwds.
in this example your sub is a fwd, he can sub for anything if the others go down because a 3-4-3, a 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 are all acceptable, a 2-4-4 is not.

Here are the most recent rosters I could find for bluebarricuda and cwil177. I found blue's on page 91 and cwil's on page 92. If you find a more recent lineup, then please score it on your own.
I am scoring week 10 (two weekends ago) and week 11 (this past weekend) for them. They will have two scores by each player. The first is for week 10 and the second is for week 11.
Mick, can you update the table when I am done? Make sure you add in the week 10 total points if you have not already.
Atom, can you edit the title of the thread to include a notice to Cwil177 and bluebarricuda at the end to call attention to this post on page 99?
Cwil177's Weeks 10 and 11 scores:
Goalkeepers:
Asmir Begovic (Stoke City) - 3/7
Defenders:
Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea) - 2/2
Ryan Shawcross (Stoke City) - 1/9
Danny Simpson (Newcastle United) - 2/2
SUB - Evra - 10/1
Midfielders:
Nani (Manchester United) - 1/0
Ben Arfa (Newcastle United) - 5/1
Mikel Arteta (Arsenal) - 1/3
Jim Morrison (West Brom) - 0/10
Forwards:
Nikica Jelavic (Everton) - VC - 2/7
Grant Holt (Norwich City) - 2/2
Jermaine Defoe (Tottenham) - Captain - 1x2=2/1x2=2
Week 10 Total Points: 31
Week 11 Total Points: 46
Cwil177, at your team is at least respectable and the only injury is Nani. You seem to do a better job bitching about the sub system, instead of posting your own lineup and recording your scores though. Please let us know if they are certain weeks that you will be too busy in advance.
bluebarracuda's Weeks 10 and 11 scores:
Szczesny - 0/0
Defenders
Luiz - 0/0
Hangeland - 1/1
Distin - 1/0
Midfielders
Hazard(C) - 2x2=4/2x2=4
Kagawa - 0/0
Mikel - 2/1
Carrick - 2/2
Forwards
Anichebe - 0/0
Zamora(VC) - 1/1
Ruiz - 5/8
Week 10 Total Points: 16
Week 11 Total Points: 17
Blue, fix your abortion of a squad. You had three players that were injured in your starting lineup and you listed no sub. As a penalty for being inactive and not adding a sixteenth player to your roster, I selected your back-up forward to be Emile Heskey of Powerhouse FC.
I would support finding a replacement owner for Blue if Xenophon still wants to play.
