Free agent Terrell Owens reportedly ran a sub-4.5 forty-yard dash during his Monday tryout in Seattle, and the Seahawks will now "try" to sign him.
Per multiple ESPN reporters, Owens' workout was "very impressive" and he's still got plenty of straight-line juice going on age 39.

ran a 4.4 forty...at 40 year old..damn

They floated rumors last week that he ran a sub 4.4.

Of course, they exagerrated, but running in the 4.4 range is still very fast, especially for 39 yo TO; 1 year removed from ACL reconstruction.

Owens' time in the 40 was 4.45 seconds, sources said.

I love T.O., but he would not be #1 on the Saints

I would take T.O. over Colston anyday!! Colston isn't even a top 20 WR w/o Brees

I wouldn't make it incentive laden contract, either.

Could you imagine how much TO would be screaming for the ball if he made $$ when he hit certain catch/TD numbers?

How?? Name one thing Colston does better!

Deep Threat--T.O. by a mile(and he's 10 years older,which is enough said already)

Route runner--T.O.

Hands--Colston barely

YAC--T.O. and it ain't even close!!

So please explain to me how Colston is even in the same world as T.O. as a player?? Even at 39 T.O. is hands down the better player....please take off your Black and Gold blinders, Colston is majorly overrated by Saints fans!!

You have no idea what TO is like now 19 months removed from playing an NFL game.

Jesus really?

The same thing was said when he signed with Cincy, and he looks to be the same as reports would have it. Say what you want about him as a teammate or person, but this guy has always shown up and performed at a high level wherever and with whomever he has played...T.O. is a freak of nature, arguably the greatest WR of all-time!

He wasn't coming off a year out of football so the same was not said then. And for the record I like TO and am happy he's back.

I honestly think this could work out well for both sides involved. Now that T.O has seen how close he was to being done for good, he's gonna put in everyhting he has for the Seahawks. Not to mention Carroll is a textbook example of a players coach so T.O will feel right at home
