What New Orleans restaurants would you like to have in the Baton Rouge area?

Good idea Wink on this Friday that I don't feel like working.

Lets do a top 3 and I'll forward the compilation of data to the respective restaurant owners to make it happen.

1. Domenica - We have no modern Italian fare except for OG.
2. Coquette - I just like what they're doing.
3. Cochon & butcher - I like me some pig. Maybe Laffy will let us have theirs since they aren't using it.

Is 'all' an option?

this would do pretty well in BR since those people like to think of themselves as "cajun" yet have no nice cajun restaurants

I would add Borgne to the list. That place really impressed me. The menu is all very progressive south LA food that would do well in BR. we've already seen how a classic nola restaurant like galatoires cannot excel in BR.

i think a good value brunch place like atchafalya would also do well

BR is severely lacking in sandwich joints.

1) Stein's
2) Parkway
3) Cochon Butcher

CC Steak House.

But I guess you'd have to rename it.

And then it wouldn't be as good.

How does Domenica make their sauces and pasta though?

Sorry, the place sort of tapered off for me. First few times I tried it great. After that I thought they started diluting the quality.

Or maybe you'll learn how to cook and stop being a god damn fricking retard

Not exactly New Orleans, but Crazy Johnnies would do extremely well here.
