Ah... Are you from BR? The Who actually played... wait for it...

Redemptorist High School in 1967 -- opening for Herman's Hermits. I've met several people who were there.

Naw, Man.
Saw The Animals, with The 13th Floor Elevators, Dylan, Chuck Berry, Lightning Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Jerry Lee Lewis, Merle Haggard, Guy Clark - at Various Times and Places.
You have an Immense Catalogue from that Era. I Enjoy it!

'67. Houston.
Maybe you can help me with this: What was the name of the Festival, in Br, Summer, 1970?
(I was there, and I took The Brown Acid, Ha.)
"Celebration Of Life"?

Are you talking about the one in Prairieville in 1969? I think it was called "The New Orleans International Music Festival" or something like that

I believe there is a poster for it somewhere in this thread...

No, it was somewhere in Denham Springs, maybe Old Thunderbird Beach?
Celebration Of Life was in Mcrea, 1971? (I took The Yellow Acid, there. Ha.)
Yeah, '71. (Where's The "OD Tent"?)

Ian Hunter live in Essen Germany (April 19, 1980)

Ian Hunter, frontman of Mott The Hoople, one of the greatest bands of the 1970s (unfortunately I can't find any Mott shows on YouTube ), in concert on German TV's Rockpalast series.

Backed by sideman extraordinaire Mick Ronson (RIP) Hunter performs several Mott classics like "All The Young Dudes", "All The Way From Memphis", the gorgeous ballad "Irene Wilde", and "I Wish I Was Your Mother", one of the most beautiful songs of our age.

Other highlights include Hunter's post-Mott "Once Bitten Twice Shy" and "Cleveland Rocks", Ronson's reworking of the Richard Rodgers ballet "Slaughter On Tenth Avenue", and Hunter's cover of Sonny Bono's "Laugh At Me".

I'm not mad. I have an extra ticket to the Phish shows in Atlanta this summer. Why don't you hop in the van with my wook clan and rage with us? It will open the doors, brah.

Rockpile - Live in Hamburg Germany (January 12, 1980)

One of the great shoulda beens. Roots rock revivalist and guitar virtuoso Dave Edmunds teamed up with popmeister songsmith and all-around smartass Nick Lowe to form this classic band in the late '70s. Unfortunately, management squabbles would cause their split less than a year after this show.

Setlist:

01 Sweet Little Lisa
02 So It Goes
03 I Knew The Bride
04 Switchboard Susan
05 Crawlin' From The Wreckage (written by Graham Parker)
06 Trouble Boys
07 Girls Talk (written by Elvis Costello)
08 Three Time Looser
09 Born Fighter
10 You'll Never Get Me Up In One Of Those
11 Promised Land
12 Queen Of Hearts
13 They Called It Rock
14 Ju Ju Man
15 Singin' The Blues
16 Let's Talk About Us
17 Feel Like I'M Goin' Down

The Faces - Sounds for Saturday (BBC, 1971)

Rod Stewart and the boys, back when they were the world's greatest bar band. Too bad the party would soon end -- Rod would go Hollywood and complete the greatest artistic downfall in rock history.
