Start your own thread this one is mine.

This guy has put on the weight since coming to LSU. I don't think he has really gotten a lot of playing time at DE over the years and I was wondering could he go inside and get in the DT rotation.

I know he had the injury.

Complete bust. Last year he had three assisted tackles on the season with two against Northwestern State. This is his last year unless he somehow is granted a 5th year. With the depth we have at DE there is nothing to see here...

You realize that just because someone on LSUs team isn't a 1st team all american or Heisman finalist that doesn't mean he was a bust.

To get back to your original question, I'd ask this: Why?

To me, LSU is four deep in tackles I'd feel good about: Logan, Downs, Johnson, Ferguson. And it's four deep with ends I'd feel good about: Mingo, Montgomery, Edwards and Aghayere.

Why would you hurt your end depth to bolster an already sufficiently deep position? If a couple of tackles go down, then maybe. Otherwise, why?
