Grew up in Texas...Got academic scholarship to LSU, came down for a visit and decided it was for me (was intrigued by the idea of moving somewhere where I knew no one). Before my freshman year started, I started hanging out with a fraternity that I ended up joining. Been here ever since.
Younger Brother and sister both went to UT-Austin. Entire family still lives in Texas...Austin, Houston, and Longview.

I came to LSU with my wife from China in 2009 for my master's degree, and then had become a die-hard LSU football fan since then, so had my wife. 
We feel extremely proud and fortunate to be part of the Tiger Nation!
