I'm just starting grad school at OU and I can't wait for this game. I also appreciate your honesty about the most likely outcome. I hope to get tickets but I don't think it'll happen this time around.

What has changed so drastically about Texas from the last two seasons? Also, 10-2 = ok, 8-4 = kill children. You didn't say anything about 9-3.

Apparently I'm the only one who doesn't quite get the OSU love. I've been thinking this is probably the first time since 2001 I think Tennessee has better starters.

their schedule is beyond easy and they should be in every game they play; i dont think they are quite yet at *elite* status this year, but they should get 9 wins.

Texas goes 10-2 with losses to WVU and one of OU or Kansas State. WVU wins the Big 12 in its first season. Or at least that's my prediction.

I think 9-3 is fairly realistic as well - 8-4 means we've had OL injuries and can't overcome them. 10-2 means we've stayed relatively injury free and had better than expected QB play.

LOL WUT??? If we have just mediocre qb play with the three headed monster at RB..and a defense that is totally frickin stacked..im FINALLY optimistic about my texas team this year. Not like 2005, but more like 2008..Except blake fricking gideon isnt in the secondary this year..THANK frickING GOD. and no michael crabtree..

UTSA W Nicholls St. W @ NC State L @ Mississippi St. L Troy - L ( I don't like the fact we draw them after our two toughest games of the year.) @ Arkansas St. L Florida Atl. W @ Louisiana-Monroe - toss up @ North Texas L Middle Tennesse- toss up @ Louisiana-Lafayette L @ Hawaii L (but good for them to make that trip though since we can't play for a conf. title/bowl bid until 2013.)

Get real. t.u. will lose to OU and WVU but there is a chance against Kansas State. Or at least that's the best chance of those three.

Maybe OU.I said MAYBE. But WVA doesn't have the depth or talent to beat Texas this yera. Texas will be a suprise team this year.

Did you see West Va play any other game besides Clemson? Their defense is horrendous. They got blown out by Syracuse. Syracuse There's not a chance in hell that they win the Big 12 with that D. You have to be able to makes stops when you need to and I don't think that they will be able to do that. Sure, Holgorsen is an offensive genius, but everyone has played against his offense before, when he was the OC at Okie Lite. I think they'll win 8-9 games, but no more than that.

West Virginia is my sleeper to make or challenge for a national championship. I don't think they are really that good, I just think the Big 12 is that shitty.

And I say there is no maybe as far as OU is concerned. We beat them 55-17 last year and I haven't seen anything that makes me think they could swing back in such a big way.

The Big 12 is way better than where WVA came from. They will struggle.
