Their defense is horrendous. They got blown out by Syracuse. Syracuse There's not a chance in hell that they win the Big 12 with that D

Dude our D was not horrendous last year, yes we did shite the bed last yea vs Cuse but shite happens with a first year coach. Im not saying we win the Big12 but 9 or 10 wins in the regular season is probably going to happen.

Yeah, I'm hoping that there isn't a head scratching loss like there was the last two years.

the only other game that worries me besides UNC is Cincy.

Give it a year or two and The Ville will be in the Big 12.

University of South Florida

Sat., Sept. 1 Chattanooga - Win
Sat., Sept. 8 at Nevada - Win
Sat., Sept. 15 RUTGERS - Win
Sat., Sept. 22 at Ball State - Win
Sat., Sept. 29 Florida State - Loss
Sat., Oct. 6 at TEMPLE - Win
Sat., Oct. 20 at LOUISVILLE - Loss
Sat., Oct. 27 SYRACUSE - Win
Sat., Nov. 3 CONNECTICUT - Win
Sat., Nov. 17 at Miami - Win
Fri., Nov. 23 at CINCINNATI -Loss 50/50
Sat., Dec. 1 PITTSBURGH - Win

Overall 9-3 or possibly 10-2 with a chance at the coveted Big East title. Everyone seems to be drinking the Louisville Kool-Aid this year, I'll bite but wouldn't be surprised to see USF beat them.

What has changed so drastically about Texas from the last two seasons

younger players get older and can some times improve. I know, I know, its hard to believe a guy can get better in his 2nd or 3rd year or that a 2nd year with a new coaches (OC/DC) can make a difference, but sometimes it does.

Anyone saying Texas is garbage is just a blind hater. 9-3, maybe 10-2. 8-4 is they have injuries.

I think USC will finish 12-2 with a BCS Bowl win.

8-4 overall, 4-4 in conference play, and Dooley fired.

unless you specify some conference game scores, you are not going to see him fired with an 8-4 4-4 record.

and what about the bowl game. 8-4 looks like the chick-fil-a vs the ACC #2. Let's say its Clem or Va Tech, your choice.

so...even then, I doubt you get rid of dooley. he might be 9-4.
no one is going to fire a HC with 9-4. wait, what was Fulmer's record again. remind me.

Why is it that every UT fan is predicting a loss to Florida? And that every Florida fan is predicting a win against UT?

Tennessee would have beaten Florida in the swamp last year if Justin Hunter doesn't tear his ACL. Tennessee will have complete continuity on offense from last year, and I think it is fair to conclude will be appreciably better than Florida on offense.

Florida will be adjusting to a new system on offense. They were horrendous last year without Brantley. I just don't see there being any reasonable basis for concluding that Florida will be something other than horrendous on offense. And I'm fairly certain that you can't win if you don't score.

Thoughts? Vols? Gators?
