And it makes anybody affiliated with the university at this point look bad
1. empathetic towards the victims
2. embarrassed to be affiliated with such a corrupt institution
3. they resolve to do what is right and that includes changing the cult like culture of the ENTIRE COMMUNITY
no one has said this crap. Instead they are rallying around some perverted thought that the entire school/community is the victim in this whole thing

I agree with this 100%. Despite how they feel, this is what to say. The Paterno family really needs to shut it...they are making themselves look the worst of all. Just let everything come out on its own.
