Eh...hard for them to NOT feel like that at this point. I disagree with the sanctions, as do many of the fans and students.
I think people are confusing that with supporting child molestation.
Paterno obviously fricked up...big time...but that doesn't change the fact that teams he coached still won games.
That said, the sign is one thing, I would take that doll down though.

No, they are saying the coach that won all those games harbored a child rapist and allowed years of abuse to go on at HIS campus with all the Penn State leaders sticking their heads in the sand.

Exactly. What are they fans and community supposed to say? Keep kicking us like dogs and treating us like dirt because it makes you feel good even though we didn't rape or cover-up rape?
It's bad enough when everyone is judge and jury on the the people involved with the case but when fanbases around the country now act holier than thou and take pleasure in PSU's fanbase being treated like shite...give me a break.
PSU wasn't the most myopic football only matters fanbase in the country to begin with. And everyone becomes defensive when they feel they're being piled on unfairly.
