Also - Defiance looks like it will be really cool. Not sure how they're going to tie in the game "influencing the show's direction" and all... but I'll be watching.

Oh and the reason everyone fell down but Gary is because of Gary's unique power. He can't be pushed. His brain is not wired like the average Alpha or humans. The Alphas will get up. They get knocked down after the burst, but they get up. The humans won't get up.
