Voorhies-I think he will actually take precedent over those not names Brown, Jones and Paris

Definitely an SEC guy, so "keep away" could add to the value of taking him. Hopefully the Texas guys that don't get taken go to Big 12 or other non-SEC teams.

By this time next year there will be 20 more names we could mention
Yep, No one has seen any more than two years of H.S. ball, one spring and some practices in shorts. Were still talking about a bunch of guys going into their junior years. Anyone who gets mad at any one of them for wanting to look around at this stage is just an idiot. I just hope they are actually having fun and improving their game going from camp to camp.

Agree about Voorhies. He's SEC all the way. Only consolation is that if we miss on him, he'll end up at one of the MS schools. Not overly concerned with either of them to be honest. I just think his talent and the fact that he's a coast kid will put him at the top of that "2nd" group of DBs after Jones, Paris and Brown.

I don't think Hardeman decommits necessarily because someone pitched him better. More likely that our depth in the class scares him away or the staff flat out tells him to look around. I like Hardeman and have absolutely no issue taking him but I do believe we have others on the board better than him. Harvey is one of those, as is Voorhies. The great thing about the " big 3" is that all of them have the versatility to play both CB and S. That helps us to take other talented kids that may be better fits at one of those spots. (Example Voorhies-S) I think Harvey could play offense as well so he may not factor in specifically to the DB class. The biggest thing working against Hardeman is the fact that it's so early. I'm not one that believes that "Mathieu position" has to be recruited for specifically. Brooks did pretty damn well in that role as well. Eugene has the same traits. I'm sure one of the many DBs are capable of blitzing off the edge.
