I saw that the Lobster season is very good this year and found someone selling with shipping on Craig's List in Maine for a fair price.

quote:

Get Maine Lobster today while prices are low straight from Rockland,ME

12 lobsters mix sizes delivered next day for $145.00

Or get your family, friends, and coworkers together for a value package $215.00 delivered next day.
30 lobsters 1.00lb each
24 lobsters 1.25lb each
20 lobsters 1.50lb each
Mix Bag Ten 1lbers, Ten 1,25lbers and Four 1.50lbers

I ordered 20 of the 1.5 lbers and they will be in on Friday afternoon. I have a few friends coming over and I am going to cook them a few different ways. I was thinking about putting some on the grill split lengthwise and basting with butter.

What are some other ideas? Perhaps I can perfect the lobster roll...

Find Emeril's Stuffed Lobster Recipe and do that to a few. Great dish...I substitute the "Northern" seasonings with a Creole spice and it is awesome.

This Is It . I don't use the tarragon...I use a Cajun spice to taste...awe who am I foolin'...I use Tony's until the salt is right. I also saute some chopped shrimp and add that to the crab and lobster meat...this is a good recipe. And, you can make them in advance and just pop them in the oven shortly before serving time.

looks like a scam to me. Anytime there are grammatical errors throws up red flags in my book.

unless you typed this in, I would be skeptical. Hope it all works out for you and the lobsters come out great.

As they are most likely "soft shell" try this with a couple of them. Break them apart and pull out the meat. Chop some onion, tomato, mushrooms and red bell pepper. Wrap all of the ingredients into a phyllo dough casing and bake until the dough is flaky as it can get. While this is baking make a plain beurre blanc. Plate the lobster roll, and give it a bit of the BB. As they say in France MANGE.

This is the email I just recieved back. Kind of skeptical myself.

Prior to payment i need your address so I can check on Saturday UPS service. Some areas aren't available. For both our protection I only accept paypal to my email address. In the note section of paypal please specify what size box you want and I will sent you tracking info around 3:30pm day before. I am not allowed on my cell during work hours so email works best and I get it immediately.

Ask him for his cell so that you can call him after work hours. Bet you get no response or just another excuse. I would be very skeptical of this. Like I said, I hope this all works out. I hate those craigslist scammers with a passion

Could be a scam, but who ever said fishermen were known for their grammar?
