Geo Measure is good

I use the weather channel app but would like a better weather app than that.

For kayakers without a fancy GPS on board, found this app called Pin Drop. Drop points at your locations, get coordinates and add notes.

Also for kayakers there is an app called launch points that tells you about all of the places to launch a kayak. Really good app.
