As I respect Bush for being on the team of glory, I just think Sproles is the man

Sproles is what Reggie was meant to be in this offense but couldn't.

I never was real sold on Reggie. He was hyped so much coming out of USC, but then who isn't hyped up by espn coming out of USC?

All of his highlights at USC were against "sho-sho" teams with no defense. I knew the NFL defense were going to be trouble for him.
Thats not to say that I didn't cheer for him, and get excited on his few punt returns.

Reggie was the Walter P22, while Sproles was the Ruger SR22.

2 handguns of very similar design, P22 came out first, had many issues (most notably FTE's aka injuries), Ruger SR22 took P22 design and perfected it. P22 is now obsolete.

One thing I have to hand to reggie is the man knows how to score points in the redzone. Maybe it is because we have more weapons now but we don't use sproles like we used reggie in the red zone. When we got down the the 15ish, we would literally just go to reggie to score for us, and he was incredibly good at it. How many times do you remmeber us doing a stretch play to the long side with reggie on like the 10 yard line and him getting to the sideline and leaping in.

Overall though especially for our offense today, sproles is a better fit. I still feel reggie is a more effective solo playmaker.
