Purchased a FEMA trailer yesterday for my deer lease. It has a small leak in the roof. What's a good sealant to put on top with a brush or roller? Not looking to redo the entire roof, just a quick fix until we can get a cover built on top of the camper.

I lived in one after Katrina and when our shite leaked we adjusted strappings and untorqued it. I think when they set it up they tightened one side of the back and a front one in a way that it torqued the 'frame' and opened it up along the edges. We adjusted it back and caulked it up. Worked perfect. Our shite was pouring in at the door and in one of the front 'closets'.

make sure you know what material the roof is made of (I know nothing about FEMA trailers, but RVs often have diff roofing material from the sides). Then google to get to a good RV forum. I'll find a link when i get home. If you want it to last and be UV resistant, don't use some junk you buy at Home Depot. Go to CampingWorld and compare prices/shipping with Amazon.

eta: ProFlex and Dicor are of the grade you want to look for.

That's the ticket. Until then, maybe a blue roof special?
