Most knew it would be difficult for LSU to come out and play with the same intensity as in the 1st game which was a classic. If LSU beats Ala this year you will forget about the mulligan and do over as we will likely be playing for another Champ with the win. Stop crying we beat them for the SEC CHAMP ON THEIR FIELD!

Yes the gumps had to put themselves in that position by winning out but it also took alot of luck for all the other teams to lose so they could get back into contention.
John Swafford made the comment that the new 4 team playoff will allow teams to "play their way in to a national title." I'd argue last year during the regular season every team played their way out except LSU.
