It works exactly like any real auction does. You have an order but thats just to take turns nominating players. Anyone and everyone can bid as long as you still have as many dollars as players left. If you have 20 bucks and 3 roster spots left, your max bid possible is 18 dollars cause you have to have 2 dollars for your 2 roster spots left. Its a free for all and you can usually bid in any increments you want as long as its 1 dollar higher.

I got my hand caught in the cookie jar a few years ago pumping up Warner after i already had a QB. Luckily i traded him in draft for a few bucks less than i bought him for.

Thats the only good thing about live auction drafts is if you do get stuck with a player you can trade him for cash during the draft.
