That is what I am thinking. Base model and just upgrade it down the line. All I want it for right now is to mess around at my buddy's farm

I bought just a basic wood stock carbine. Replaced the stock with a Hogue overmold stock and but a bull barrel on it. It will shoot the arse off a fly at 50yds.

Just have a cheap Bass Pro 3-9x40 scope on it.

Planning on replacing the trigger and thinking about a tactical solutions barrel at some point as well.
