I'm not so sure that we will see Jon Snow fight with a sword again.

I just re-read the Varamyr prologue in ADWD. GRRM put a lot of detail into that chapter regarding wargs. It must be foreshadowing for Snow in the next book, which means he will be in Ghost for a while.

Of course, Melisandre could end up with Snow's body...
