The only thing I like better about the first one is Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin. Willem Dafoe was born to play a comic book villain.

Have anyone of you actually read Spider-Man? Modern Spidey = Garfield's version. Wittier and more convincing Spider-Man. Dafoe was great, but that movie was hammy and his costume sucked. The Lizard is a good villain. Keep Osborn in the shadows for now.

I haven't seen the new one yet but I went ahead and spoiled it for myself. From what I've read:

also, why so much TAS Uncle Ben hate here? Sheen was excellent in this film.

I would hope that the Amazing Spidey would be better because Toby was terrible. He was the weakest link i'n the first 3 movies.
