Roddy B gonna wreak havoc on the NBA as a full time starter. Dude is gonna jack up 40 shots a game and average 12 points.

Mavs are so fricked this year.

To be honest, I don't know why Mavs fans would even care about this. They weren't going to be contenders this year with Kidd anyways

Knicks want an old PG to mentor Lin.

Though this does mean Felton won't be returning to the Knicks, luckily for their fans.

Felton

if ever anyone needed to go live with Tim Grover for about 2-3 months, it's this guy. I'd have just gone to Chi right after the season ended.

I don't care, honestly that he's gone

I'm fricking pissed because he is a pussy and verbally agreed to a contract then backed out

Don't agree in the first place. You are 39-years-old, not a 21-year-old immature dickwad

This

He was just taking up minutes that should've been going to other players

At least you'll get a lottery pick in a weak arse draft class

He's not taking away minutes from Roddy B, the back up point guard, b/c Roddy B. sucks badly. He will have a breakout game once per season - he is fool's gold. Sad reality is the Kidd was still the best point guard on that team by a wide margin.

Some desperate teams out there, seems they're just throwing money out to big names. Kidd is waaaay past his prime not not worth his contract IMO. However, I guess they sell a lot of gear that helps offset player salaries in NY.

Not sure this is true.

Howard Beck from the NYT said he had heard earlier that the deal wasn't done that there were still details to be worked out. It's possible some that either reporters exaggerated how done the deal was or possibly Dallas management jumped the gun on how solid they thought Kidd's interest was.

Apparently Kidd really wanted to play in NY, but many thought he was just using the interest was leverage against DAL.

yep. The silver lining is no one wants to either stay in Dallas or sign with Dallas.

If you can't get Kidd to stay, how can you sell the team?

Just trade Dirk now to highest bidder and get multiple first-round picks, then Cuban/Donnie Nelson can pick more guys like Fazekas, D. Jones, Mo Ager, etc.

If LAL still had draft picks, I would do Dirk, Marion and Roddy B for Bynum and two No. 1's and two No. 2's
