Marc Stein ?@ESPNSteinLine Going online now: Suns move quickly after Steve Nash trade and strike four-year deal with Goran Dragic worth $34 million, sources tell ESPN

Their draft picks are looking less and less valuable as trade assets.

Good deal for them. Not a bad contract for his talent.

Didn't look too valuable to begin with.

So much for the "I want $10m+" deal. And yeah, it looks like the Suns were just going for the home run and hoping the Hornets wouldn't match a max deal, as Dragic/Gordon/Beasley/Morris/Gortat is a team with a lot of potential (though it could easily bust if Dragic was a fluke, Gordon is injured and Beasley goes crazy). I doubt they ever had any intention on giving up Gortat, and we sure as shite won't deal Gordon for their trash or there now possibly non-lotto pick.

Looks like Gordon is gonna be pretty disappointed not going to Phoenix. I'm sure this new line-up is what they sold him on.

Agreed. Makes it even more imperative that we match EG's deal. If he's still not happy and his heart doesn't find a home here, then we trade him at a later date to the highest bidder. Why deal with only 1 team when we can open up to offers from the other 28? Hornets just have to match IMO.

really? A lineup of Dragic (solid player) and Beasley (headcase) sold him over Davis, Rivers and a bunch of Cap space next season?

Makes it much easier for Demps to demand Marshall be included in a s&t if it comes to that. Just sayin...

I loved Dragic and was sad when we shipped him to Houston. I'm actually really happy that we got him back! This makes the whole Nash/Lakers thing sting a little bit less. I'm glad that the Suns front office is being pro-active for once.

Paul Coro ?@paulcoro Goran Dragic contract tweak: it's a 4-year, $30M deal with potential to be $34M from annual $1M All-Star bonuses. 4th year is player option.

So for a guy that wanted $10+ MM/yr, he only gets $7.5 MM/yr. Don't see him being an all-star.

Not in a conference with CP3, Nash, and Westbrook as points.

Nash could look like an MVP if the Lakers stand pat with Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum.
