Yup. It won't ever disappear from his game so just get used to it.

I was just kidding about the flopping, it really doesn't bother me like it does most...

Me neither. Part of the game, part of the mentality. Nothing I can do to change it, so I just take it all with a grain of salt

Couldn't tell for sure but I don't think Oscar's was that bad of a dive, at least not yellow worthy, he was definitely contacted by the defender and he didn't go down ridiculously. Don't think it was a pen but also not sure it was a dive.

Ivan on the other hand... ...embarrassing.

Just depends on your view of a dive I guess. There is definitely contact by the defender with his arm into Oscar's midsection. Did Oscar have to go down? I doubt it, but he was definitely contacted.

De brunye is putting in a motm performance for Bremen right now. Figured someone in here would be interested in that. He had a lovely bit of skill earlier, I'll try and find it later

Saw that he scored. That's about it though.

A little top of the table bump. Thought we played great defensively sans the Gervinho goal. Mata was as good as he's been in a Chelsea shirt. Oscar seemed in a little over his head today. Hazard is full of run and is all over the pitch. He drew a ton of fouls today. Oh, and Cech brought out the gorilla dong for the game today!!!!!

Pretty much. Also, I really like Ramires in one of those two holding spots and as much crap as Mikel gets I thought he teamed up very well with Rambo today. Solid performance overall and a huge three points away from home. Only wish we could have put it away when the game opened up so much at the end. Oh well, European Champions' problems.

Me too. It really gives a good balance of speed and size in the defensive midfield.

Torres also played well for the majority of the game. I don't expect him to be superman with every touch, but he still gives the ball up too easily too often for my liking.

Oscar was definitely in over his head, but it was a good experience for him against a top-four team. And Like Macca said, a new man stepped up for Chelsea. This time it was Mata. It's been Hazard, it's been Oscar, etc. The sign of a good lcub.

Love it! Go blues!

Now the Essien move makes more since. Ramires clearly was taking that role and Oscar is starting to barge into the first team. RDM may know what he's doing more than we think.

Still wish he would have been given some minutes and maybe a better opportunity to beat out Mikel (though he played well today).

Mikel gets hammered by fans, but he plays more good than bad. He also loves this club. Think about it, his father was kidnapped in Nigeria and he never asked for time off and played every match. That's tough man. I couldn't imagine.

His nonchalant look and attitude have a lot to do with it. He just doesn't look like he really cares or ever gives a lot of effort.

Debatable, but I will say that every time I am ready to give up on him he has a game like the CL final or like he did today where he plays his role to perfection.

Yeah, I understand. Today he was very good IMO. He's pretty good at breaking up play through the middle.

ETA:Ramires has been good along side him as well. Way better than I expected him to be in that role.

I have to say that while the results have been great I am still a little concerned with the lack of chances/goals we are creating/scoring in the run of play. A LOT of set piece/PK goals that we can't count on all year. I'd like to see us be a little more ruthless on the counter or a little more lethal with the final ball/finish. I think our lack of width and guys that want to get in the box is going to start costing us soon.
