There is a precedent for this in the EPL LINK
Although, I think he deserves a ban... probably atleast the rest of this season... regardless, I feel that may be the last game we see him in a red shirt..

Na man. I honestly hope he comes back a reformed man with added hunger. I think he needs professional help on this issue.

Cantona stayed at Manchester United after his karate kick. About the only reason I could think that Suarez might stay at LFC.
He can leave IMO. That is in no way what the club stands for. We can deal with the occasional dive and his overall douchebaggery, but this is too far and I don't want to be associated with a player like that.
Sucks that he's an amazing player, but what can we do.
