A year ago today we hired the manager that will one day soon, bring this club back to where it rightfully should be. Pass and move, the Liverpool way. The past year has been a joy to watch, and here's to hoping for many more. The sky is the limit. Here's to you Brendan!
TO BRENDAN!!!

Also I'm starting to hate the British press as much as Luis does ...

Pissed me off big time that. Here's hoping Suarez will have a change of heart. Or we will sell him soon and use the funds to get Lamela and Muriel.

Lamela and Muriel would heal all wounds... Papa with the Carroll cash and the future would start to look bright...

Haven't been around in a while ...
But I'd be ecstatic if Papou ended up at Anfield.
Curious whether or not Reina leaves this summer, with Valdes news.
In that case, I'd still love to see us chase McCarthy to be our No. 2 and develop into our No. 1 keeper.
Develop the depth on the wings ... Lamala and Muriel would be fine signings.
Would like to see Liverpool enquire about Weimann as well.
Exciting time to be a Red. Have to get a few more results against top-half clubs this year and we may be talking Champions League in 2014.

The Cajuns lost last night. I had to come see what sort of slander was being thrown. I ambled this way. Still less idiots here than everywhere else on this website.

Reina isn't going anywhere apparently. Signing new deal. Quote.
Also according to some rumors. Suarez had told team-mates he wasn't going anywhere this season before he left for Uruguay. Dunno what happened in the middle. Every time he goes to Uruguay some s**t goes down.
And Ian Ayre spotted returning from Barcelona. Could it be the Luis Alberto deal? I would be very happy to see this happen.

The rumors are swirling on Henrikh Mkhitaryan being our main summer signing... This article from the credible Andy Hunter says this is with or without Suarez leaving...
Would be very good for us... 25 goals in 28 league games..

From what I've been seeing, Toure, Aspas, Alberto, and Papa as the likely signings this window. After that, I see us going after one more attack oriented player (most likely Mikhtaryandjekwhzndkei or Eriksen but could bring in another unknown name), another defender (Alderwield?), and maybe one more versatile player.

Wow, a bit from Bellamy's new book, on Charlie Adam:
In today's final extract from his new book, Craig Bellamy tells of how he was alarmed at the beginning of his new adventure at Liverpool when he saw Charlie Adam in training for the first time.
I met Charlie a couple of times before pre-season training began, and he seemed a nice lad.
He wasn't the brightest but then footballers rarely are. I consider myself to be among the cleverer footballers around.
Charlie is a true Scot, and he loves his beer. It's all he ever talked about at the start, having had a brutal close season with a series of lads holidays abroad.
Charlie wasn't a shy lad and told the squad all about his escapades, including vomiting into the swimming pool at 2pm one afternoon.
He was a fat bastard too, Charlie, and he could eat for Scotland.
Some of the lads called him 'Rab', after the TV comedy character Rab C Nesbitt.
The first day at training and Charlie had a 'mare. He couldn't control the ball to save his life, couldn't get his breath and kept falling over while trying to run with the ball.
Players are always judging others, never more so than on the first day - first impressions count and though some of the lads found it hilarious, most were not impressed.
"Who's this count?", one respected player said to me.
"I can't believe we've signed this useless count", said another.
While one of the club's iconic players said to me, "I'd played against him last season and I knew he was shite, you're gonna need to step it up this season, Craig - cos this count's wank."
Charlie didn't have the best of seasons and he was sold on to Stoke. I wish him well.

I knew you'd like that, given your general disdain for Chuckie poo
