Monreal def looks better than santos. Did the players all come out healthy today?

Nope.. Kos and Ramsey got nicked and there are rumors about Sagna.

Oh the joys of International breaks.

At least Wilshere balled out.

13 matches left:
@Sunderland
Villa
@Spurs
Everton
@Swansea
Reading
@WBA
Norwich
@Fulham
ManU
@QPR
Wigan
@Newcastle

I think 30 pts there is possible and would likely get us in the top 4. Pretty tough last fixture though if we go into the last week needing to win. Chelsea has a significantly tougher schedule going forward. Spurs about even. Maybe slightly tougher.

30 points would get us top 4, that's not even a question. The problem is 30 points from 13 games would be a pretty big improvement over what we've done in the first 25 games. I know we've got a fairly easy schedule but this team hasn't really shown the ability to string together 5 or 6 wins in a row. I think 24 points, a record of about 7-3-3 is much more realistic and puts us at 65 points at season's end

For some reason, I have faith in this squad. mainly because I think our front 3 is finally meshing.

I think we will definitely break our transfer record this summer. Honestly, it's so low, I wouldn't be surprised if we broke it twice in the same summer. Jovetic makes sense. Villa would have been nice in January, but in the summer he'd be far too old to sign to a 3-4 year deal. Less desperation there.

I'm saying I would have overlooked signing a player his age in January because it would have helped us get 4th this season which is incredibly important. With the market far more open in the summer it's a totally different cost-benefit equation.

Indeed, Jovetic would be an amazing summer buy.

Also apparently the Brazilian transfer window is still open and one of their squads want Santos... please get this done Arsene. Would be awesome to immediately offload someone who doesn't have a future with us instead of having him sit in the reserves for years.. (squid)

Yeah there is interest from Gremio and Turkey apparently. Not sure if Turkey's window is still open or not.

Not bad, at least we found our best cb. Too bad he's also our best rb.

Oh and Diaby shouldn't be playing. He's been God awful since his return.

I thought Diaby was fine. Had a couple of nice dribbles. Also, his height was important at the end. He'll continue to knock the rust off. Just good to see him getting game time and not getting hurt. He took a couple of tough (but fair) challenges and brushed them off.

Ramsey was meh in MF today, but actually did quite well at RB. I remember Wenger back in the day mentioning Ramsey could play RB. Did well as an emergency fill-in today.

Also, apparently Santos is going to Gremio on loan with a view to a permanent mood. Who will fill our void at loveable, yet lost-on-the-pitch fullback void???? Big hole to fill in the summer.

Gibbs and Monreal have that position on lockdown.

Great win today, huge, huge and even huger.

Yeah he was joking about who is going to be our clueless defender without santos, not who will fill the actual lb spot
