How do you think PT/carries are going to be distributed this season? What do you think the depth chart will look like throughout the season? I have a feeling Blue won't get the carries he deserves, but what says the Tiger Rant?

I think the depth chart will vary throughout the season. As one back might get tired or his legs start to get heavy they will bump up another back to starter. If one back gets hot and another is cold, switch it up.

They are all seemingly talented enough to start so I just think whomever is on their game will take that starting role any given weekend.

I don't think any of them will get the carries they 'deserve', simply because they all deserve more carries than a game will allow them to receive. We can't carry the ball 100 times giving them 20-25 each.

Ware starts, Ford is the change of pace. By midseason, Hilliard starts

Whoever it is, I hope that we have a nationally recognized feature back by mnid-season. Of course, that's unlikely given the mystifying way that RB's have been rotated in the past.

Also, I'm very excited about seeing Hill perform.

Ware and Hilliard will start, with Ford and Blue being change of pace.

Hope Magee and Hill redshirt

It will def. be a log jam back there, good problem.

I think each back will have certain packages and our opponents will dictate who will get the majority going into the game. Once the game starts obviously personal performance will take over. So I'm preparing to see rotation with no real rhyme or reason, but a lot of results.

Screw that! LSUs RB corp is too deep to let one back get the majority of the carries.

Well, not if one of the backs separates himself from the others via consistent domnance and evolves into a Heisman caliber threat, which is what I am hoping for.

To the OP: We will most likely rotate them in a similar fashion as last year.

Seemed to work out pretty well.

You see him getting PT this year......or you see him transferring after this year after not redshirting and not playing a down?

Is there a rule that says you have to use your redshirt year in your true freshman year???

I'm thinking no.

I'm not sure......most people are putting him at 5 on the list at best.....also most are saying that Hill is going to be the newcomer of the year with Miles so that would put him at 6.

Ware
Ford
Hilliard
Blue
Hill
Magee

It would not shock me if the number 6 tailback gets no carries in our offense next year. It is shocking that with the talent Magee has he is at 5 or 6 on that list but thats just the way it is when you play RB and come to LSU.

that's what I'm guessing too. But I guess I'm asking if you see one (probably Hilliard) separate himself and getting more carries than the rest. Also if you see Hill or Mcgee sneak if the rotation and kind of take Ford or more likely Blue out of it.

Injuries, suspensions for synthetic grass, and blow outs will get them in the game. It's not a closed shop, also.
