Fished under the Causeway today. Ended up with 8 nice reds, 13 drum, and 42 trout. Every trout we caught were over 19". Live shrimp on the bottom. Pics to follow when I can get them loaded.

caught nothing. didnt try hard though. ran a buddies boat from venice to cyp point friday night. stopped in 100ft of water south of grand isle. nada. picked up and kept rolling west. steering on boat was out so didnt want to head further south. had to use different rpms on the two motors to keep going in a straight line all night. sucked.

We caught our fish og live/dead skrimps and clear/chartreuse tail beetles and Pink Brown's Flapping Lures.
Hooked a porpoise while pulling in a trout. The porpoise won.

4 boats 300 trout yesterday. We were all done by noon. Some were back to camp sooner than others.

Yea I fished north of the first bridge. Had another guy out in a kayak. Didn't see him when I got back. Also 2 guys in a canoe with a trolling motor

Bunch of hardheads on dead shrimp and cut bait in the surf at Errnge Beach. Seent people catch some whiting and small sharks as well. Also a dude with a horseshoe crab. Caught plenty of buzzes too.

Must be a Drum he hooked that had the rest of the body bitten off by another fish. Happened to me once with a nice red snapper.
