So your source that he invited him back strictly because he was transferring to a D1 school instead of a D2 school is a message board post?

And I don't find the idea to be that crazy. The idea to transfer to a D2 school was so that the kid could play immediately and then rejoin Louisville the next year. It's not like Pitino gave him his spot back once he figured out the kid was considering Quinnipiac.
