Golf Lessons - How to pick a good instructor?

So I'll probably take some lessons sometime soon, and I'm curious how to go about finding a good instructor.
I live in Georgia so we have plenty of courses and instructors around, I'm just not sure about just booking a class with some random pro.

Usually i Google their name to see if anything pops up. Other than that, i ask around and see what people say.
