If I'm taking injuries into effect and we had more pieces and were in win now mode, yes. Based on future potential (EG is 3 years younger) I'd keep EG.

Yes, Aldridge is an elite big man

Austin Rivers is not a good player... idk why people think he will be.

Yes, but Portland won't do this deal so why are we talking about it.
Would you trade Eric Gordon for Dwayne Wade?

Let's trade 504Saint for chicken scraps.

Yes. Love is the only PF that I would rather than Aldridge, plus LA can play center pretty effectively. We should have a couple of SGs at 10 that I think will be really effective in the NBA, but as for bigs, you'll have limited upside in Zeller and a bit of a risk in Leonard. I would do Gordon for Alrdige, take Waiters or Rivers, and be very, very happy.
But this isn't a trade that can even happen until after the draft, and I doubt Portland would do it, so I don't see the point.

Davis and Aldridge would be the top PF and C combo in the West in two years. With Gasol aging and misused by Brown the Lakers are fading and Gasol/Randolph (Memphis) and Griffin/Jordan being a notch below in talent the Hornets could go into every game with a huge advantage.

I'm hard pressed to recall a single bucket that LA made that didn't come on an alley-oop or offensive rebound put-back.
That will be AD's bread & butter. Not enough alley-oops or put-backs to go around. I don't think they would fit together.
Don't get me wrong, I'd take him, but not by giving up our version of D-Wade to get him.

He's a jump-shooter. He settles for them way too much.

You must not have watched the Blazers very much then, because like Totes said, he takes a lot of jumpers.

Aldridge has an awesome offensive game man. Not sure where you are getting that from

No way, unless you want Marco or Xavier as our starting 2 and a collection of Aldridge, Davis, Landry, and Smiht at the 4.

Yeah, as others have already pointed out this is just wrong.
LA is a big PF who is also athletic, and has a great offensive game. He's got a smooth jumper and range.
