Something about Greg Roman intrigues me. I love the offense he ran at Stanford, and there is no doubt that the 49ers improved greatly on the offense this year. I'm just not sure how much of that is Roman and how much is Harbaugh. I also have no idea how he is as a recruiter. We simply MUST have a great recruiter at Arkansas in order to compete

We already have great recruiters, we need an offensive minded guy right now because that's what we've recruited for.
We can't hire a guy like Patterson and expect to out-defense Bama and LSU. We need a guy like Petersen who can come in and utilize the tools we have at hand, and continue to build on our explosive offensive philosophy.

Harbaugh goes out of his way to say its Roman's offense and that he is the architect of it.
