Reports of Dave Doeren accepting the NCST job. I don't think he's on Arkansas' top 5, but I've been pimping him because I think the guy is the real deal and his KC connections would be important to Arkansas. I think Arkansas needs to emphasize KC, there are a lot of good players from the KC metro and competition is basically the Kansas schools, Mizzou and Nebraska. KC is closer than Dallas to the Arkansas campus, it's an easy 3.5-4 hour drive.
I'm keeping Doeren on the board until the press conference, I'm not 100% on it being the right fit for Doeren, but hey NCST is a stepping stone type of job anyway, he'll be more than ready and experienced enough the next time we're hiring.
