DIY- Bug control around the house

On my phone and I can't seem to find the few topics that talked about a certain insecticide, that you can use in your house and on the outside of the home. Its a little pricey from what I remember I just can't seem to remember the name of the product

Oh and if you want something for inside go with pyrethrin. Breaks don't faster and prob won't kill your pets or kids ;)

What are the main pests your after. There are so many new products that work really good.

Fixing to close on home, older home a good size lot for the Houston area and a good number of mature oaks. So was wanting to treat the house and yard before we move in. No specific pests in mind, but I imagine tree roaches, spiders, mosquitoes... Just the general stuff
