like others have said...if open bay, coastal fishing, be prepared for rough rides. If you're gonna spend most of the time in the marsh, you'll be fine. Blazer Bay and Nauticstar make solid fiberglass boats more reasonably priced, esp in the used market.
If you want aluminum, you can also check out Hanko's in Morgan City. Don't know much about their service, but don't hear any complaints about them like Express.(fyi, I owned a 16 ft express all alum and had no problems)
