for the right "young" veteran, sure. But don't force it.

I'm kind of backwards: Draft the right players, otherwise trade it. Trade the pick to help salary picture next offseason. I don't see next year as one where we'll `hit', so I'm ok making moves now. Next offseason is the last time I want to deal with alot of flux, though.

I would really like to see them get back in the draft late first or early 2nd while keeping the 10

Doron Lamb can be a shooter off the bench. I was high on Ezeli a while back, but his injury has cooled my interest. Still think he would be a good developmental 5. Fournier/Taylor as a 3s would be great complements.

Hopefully Demps can work something out.

CP3 and 11 others eh? That's reference is telling. Take your haterade back to HR or Nolasportskrewe or wherever it is you feel most comfortable being a miserable Hornets fan. This thread is supposed to be about a specific trade rumor, not your issues with other sites.

That and some other comments there mark him as one with some personal issue rather than a concern for the general welfare. Get 'em talking, and it all flies out.

Check.

Good eye.

Apologies to most inconvenienced by this.

For those saying this is total BS I think this is a legit rumor. It makes sense that Utah and New Orleans would have had this conversation, and while it's too early for a trade like this to be close to finalized, leaking this rumor would make sense if Utah were trying to increase other bids on Millsap or if New Orleans were trying to increase other bids on the #10, 2 conditions that are likely true.

if gordon has his max-esque deal, with okafor, ariza, and jack, we won't really have room to do anything next year

You are right if the roster stays intact. But it really seems like the hornets are desperate to include ariza and/or oakafor in trade deals right now. Ariza would be an easier sell on teams. Oakafor and his contract will not be an easy sell obviously. He really only becomes valuable when his deal is expiring.

I think ariza will be shipped somewhere soon.

A brilliant trade machinist trade on HR
#10 and Okafor for Iggy and #15
#15 and Ariza for Millsap, Burks and #47

If only

The best thing about trade machine and people on message boards is that if you can somehow make the numbers work and make the trade be deemed successful, then people seem to believe that their team will be able to make that trade with no problem. As if the other team doesn't have a say.

Also, we can amnesty Okafor if we had good reason. Options.
