Does this mean we're working Jones at the 4?

Perry Jones III & Jared Sullinger just greeted Mickey Loomis and Dell Demps at the Alario Center.

It still seems weird that Loomis is there

Sullinger says he won't apologize for not testing well at the player combine. Says he's a basketball player, not a tester.

Asked of he had narrowed down who they'll take at no 1, Monty Williams said, "Who writes this stuff? Seinfeld?"

Hornets just announced Anthony Davis will be visiting New Orleans for a workout Tuesday morning

Dell Demps says as if today theyre looking for someone to draft at No 10. Trade is still possible.

Demps said Loomis has been at the Alario for workouts looking, evaluating players for the No 10 pick

Thank god. I want us to pick someone there.

You really are way too worried about Loomis. Would you prefer Benson be the guy Demps has to sell his moves to? Demps would end up getting traded to Tyler Chicken for a fermented chicken drink and some chicken snacks for the arena.

They wouldn't finalize workouts with only two more players right? There has to be more players I would imagine coming in to day?

Because I am not a fan of Sullinger or PJ3.

There's gotta be some more people in. Last time, they had a morning workout, and then they held another in the afternoon. Probably what they are doing this time, too.

Dell Demps:"I stay away from (commenting on) trade rumors. I read about them on the Internet, just like you, and am shocked by some of them"

Is Demps saying he reads Hornets Talk?

Or Benson could do what every other new owner does, hire an actual basketball person to do that

I've been hoping for this for a while. Maybe when Loomis' suspension is done they'll see the need.

He has a basketball person...Dell Demps.

He doesn't know Dell Demps well enough to trust him. He trusts Mickey Loomis. Mickey is there, for now, in strictly an overseer capacity. Essentially, he's the owner, not Tom.

Mickey Loomis isnt even a football person

He's there for other reasons, I imagine.

Folks have been saying that since we found out about Loomis coming to the Hornets. He'd make no basketball decisions, etc...

Now he's evaluating draft prospects. The Saints GM is evaluating NBA draft prospects. Thats all i'm saying...
