Lesson after lesson, I do fine. Hitting the ball straight off the tee.
Get to the course, forget everything I was taught

You probably aren't aiming at anything when you practice, and when you aim at stuff on the course it throws you off

Hit a small bucket of range balls before your round. Get back in the mode and mental mindset of concentrating on relaxing, setting up proper, gripping correct and keeping your feet set and head down. Just hit some balls to warm up and when you feel like you're doing what you learned to do and are hitting em true go tee off.

all in your head bro.
What other factors of practice could you incorporate when you play at the course?

When you get to the tee, it's time to play golf, not play golf swing.
See your target, hit ball to target. Just have one solid thought in your mind

Act like I'm not on the course? Not try so hard? Just drink beer and drive the cart

I guess that's my problem. I think too much about what my coach is tells me in our lessons. I don't know but it's frustrating as frick

My problem I had was getting too nervous and trying to kill the ball.
My advice is to settle down, shorten your swing a little, and stay down on the ball.
I had trouble with exactly what you're talking about

Routine...routine...routine!!! Go through your routine on the range as well as on the course

One solid thought is exactly right.
You can't be thinking about too much during the swing. It's ok to analyze the shot when your doing yor routine but once your lined up all you should be thinking about is a singular thought like take the club straight back or something.

Quit trying to kill it. Proper mechanics are the key.
