I'm going to keep banging the drum for J. Taylor. I don't care if he is a reach. He is going to be a solid pro from the jump and would be a great compliment to Gordan and Davis. Taylor is on the rise.

I could definitely see Taylor and/or Fournier as options if Hornets trade down to the 20's. I really like both of these guys a the wing spots for similar reasons though Fournier has a higher ceiling.

If true, who takes him before the Hornets come up at 10?

Portland at 6?

Detroit at 9?

Some team trading up with Golden State or Toronto?

Portland taking him at 6 would probably mean Lillard would be on the board at 10.

Plenty of people have Toronto taking Lillard.

I've been hearing that, too, but I don't think the Suns have the assets to pull that one off.

Phoenix has no 2nd this year, having traded it to Atlanta. They have all their other future picks, though.

Their only players under contract are Marcin Gortat, Josh Childress, Channing Frye, Hakim Warrick, Jarred Dudley, and Markieff Morris.

They've got cap space, but I don't see them eating the contract of Amir Johnson, Toronto's worst deal.

Unless they're giving up a future 1st, eating Johnson's contract, or Toronto is enamored with one of the misfit toys playing the 3 for Phoenix, I see no reason for the deal to happen.

Kings really should deal w/ Charlotte to get their choice of MKG/Barnes.

Thomas/Thornton/MKG or Barnes/Thompson/DMC is a very promising starting 5.

Send 5 for 2 and toss in Evans since he appears to be out of their plans. Charlotte gets a legit scorer and still one of MKG/Barnes/TRob/Beal or Drummond

Not a bad deal for Charlotte, all things considered.

Being at the 2 doesn't help them since they have so many holes to fill.

Getting Tyreke to move back 3 spots is about as good a deal as they'll get, as I think the purported "Harden for the #2 pick" deal is fricking stupid. No way Harden extends with Charlotte.

Ayon will probably have a better career than Sullinger.

Sullinger is better than Ayon now and will always be better. Sullinger will be pretty solid on the next level.

You are a moron. Just saying. Goose produced very well against NBA talent last year. I'm not sure what you were watching, but to say Sullinger is better right now is head up your own arse territory.

why would he have to?

he's not interchangeable. But 3 other guys on roster are.

Because you need someone to guard centers. We cannot dedicate half of our roster to bigs who are incapable of guarding the 5, which is what you guys are asking for. I'm not going to be mad if we draft Sullinger, but I do think he's a terrible fit for our roster and would basically just be kicking the can down the road for 2 years until we can unload a PF or three.

Oakfor, Davis, and Jason smith could all guard centers.

......On the night we actually play one of the 4 or 5 legit, true centers in the NBA.

Ayon, with time, may be able too as well.

Hornets have a team option on Ayon so he can be gone at the end of next season. He's already 27 so he's probably not in the long range plans anyway. Oak is going to be with the Hornets for no longer than the 2013 season's trade deadline so that's two spots freed up in a season and a half.

He still had attitude issues then, such as sucker-punching Ruben Patterson during practice and giving him an eye injury that kept him out of the playoffs one year.

That's why he was part of the housecleaning to dump the "Jailblazers" nickname.

That would be an understatement, since he was a registered sex offender before he joined the Blazers.

Still doesn't mean that Z-Bo should have sucker-punched him in the eye.
