Accelerate preparations? I suppose that means there was some preparations already underway, but what were they?
What does a limited air offensive mean? The last limited air offensive I heard about in Syria was when the Jews bombed a nuclear reactor site in construction, but you had to look hard for that in the newspapers.
The only drama left is what term will the Peace Prize Prez use in this intervention. "Humanitarian bombing" is a little shopworn.

In '02 at the Atlanta airport I saw the most likely first troops be sent off to war in Iraq at Atlanta Hartsfield. The AF doesn't normally carry assloads of weaponry, these troops(male and female) were armed for bear hunting.
