Stony Brook's strengths this weekend were LSU's weaknesses and it was glaring.

I won't argue the talent angle, but...

1-9 SB could bunt, hit for contact, force a deep pitch count, were smart base runners.

1-9 LSU looks like 6 year olds bunting the ball, have relatively little plate discipline, are mediocre base runner at best.

Those things show me it's coaching.

But the talent and team speed differential can't be coached. It has to be recruited.
