It is probably more fairly attributable to the fact that they had a ton of drafted players on that team. I'm not really sure you can coach someone to do the things that Jankowski did for them. He was a holy terror. Even when we popped him up, he still got on. Quite amazing really.

They didnt chase bad pitches and when they had 2 strikes, anything close that they couldnt drive they fouled off. Ive never seen poise like that from top to bottom.
