All Ive seen is coach-bashing. Just curious why the hitting coach is 100% at fault here.
Because the perception is that Javi didn't know what he was doing, and that perception was reinforced (rightly or wrongly) by the fact that Dunn replaced Grewe and our staff became lights out (to say nothing of the fact that when Grewe had a two headed monster, his staff was formidable--that is perhaps another topic for another day).
Plus it seems a bit untoward to say Katz and Jones have no concept of the strikezone and, the Arbitron 5000 appears to be created by the United States government to consistently bounce into double plays. I think we'd all just prefer to say Javi sucks and move on with out lives.
