Anyone know anything about this show on AMC today at 5:00? It is advertised as a religious horror show.

quote:

Her faith shaken by a family tragedy from which she was never quite able to fully recover, a professor of theology from Louisiana State University moonlighting as a debunker of unexplained religious phenomena finds herself faced with an apocalyptic series of events that seem to reflect the ten plagues of Exodus in director Stephen Hopkins' Southern gothic chiller. The terrified citizens of Haven, LA, have been beset by swarms of locusts and watched as rivers turned to blood. As if that wasn't enough to put the fear of God into any Bible-reading Christian, ominous rumors of a local swamp cult have left many of the small-town citizens turning to prayer for fear that the end is finally nigh.

Parts of it were filmed at LSU, other parts were filmed at the old Walmart on Perkins and Acadian. Movie sucked and isn't worth watching.

The second time I watched it, it was strangely better. Not sure why but it flowed alot easier and I picked up on relevant details that were missed the first time. .

I was an extra in it and spent some scenes right next to Hillary Swank. I was later vaporized by lightning in the final scene. Interesting experience.

I liked it. I am not a movie critic, so it doesn't take much to amuse me. It was worth the watch. And in line with most religeous/supernatural horror flicks.
