Chevy Avalanche plastic is fading

Has anyone had any success with a product to keep this from happening? Or a paint that will stick and won't fade?

Thanks, You've had some success with the product? Im going to try it out. Nothing looks worse than a freshly washed Avalanche with faded out plastic.

That's the worst design ever on a pick up, I can't wrap my head around the fact that GM thought that would be a good idea

Make sure you get the gel. The spray doesn't last as long. Also, use an old wash rag or shop towel to put it on. Paper towels dont hold it as well

You might also try the Turtle Wax Ice that someone was discussing in another thread. It restored a lot faded plastic on a family member's car that I detailed for a trade in.

Forever Black. It's an actual dye, not just something that washes off. Clean the area very well, mask off, apply, be amazed.

Had an avy a few years and my dad runs a part store. He got me some kind of vent cleaner stuff that was amaing! Looked like new! Shiney black like showroom. But then i ended up painting it white like the truck!
