...yeah, I was getting nervous. And the folks sitting around me were too... 1 weak base hit - ONE - going into the 7th not exactly encouraging. But , I was semi-confidently warily sorta hopeful we would get our usual 3 runs and go to our pen to save it .. But yessir , time was running out for us to put up those 3 runs... When we got to 4 runs, I was ALL_RIGHTEE - we got this in the bag now , fer sure !!!

I was nervous in the bottom of the sixth when we had runners on first and second with no outs and Manieri didn't bunt them around. He bunted with a runner on first and Ziegler booted the play. Another bunt and we have runners on second and third with one out. Instead he lets the hitters swing and Ziegler retired the nest three batters.

Makes me crazy when college coaches ignore Baseball 101. ULM came out of that inning with momentum and almost rallied in the seventh. Double play ball saved Manieri from a lot of hard questions.
