Anybody fish the Texas City Dike recently?

Has anyone fished the Texas City Dike near Galveston recently? I have a friend with a house nearby and I'm trying to decide whether or not it is worth the 5 hr drive, to go fish it for a couple of days.

Its not worth a 5 hour drive to fish the TX City Dikes....I can promise you that.
If you want to hang out with your friend catch up on old times and drink some cold ones then make the drive, let the fishing be something you do not your main reason for visiting.
